It has come to a resolution, voted by the Board of Disney, CEO Bob Chapek contract is set to renew for another 3 years. It seems the board was also in favor of Bob Chapek’s role in the controversial bill. His current contract was set to expire coming up this February 2023, which as of now has been renewed for 3 years.

A lot of people think that Bob’s role may be a little too Corporate when it comes to profit, but the board thinks otherwise. They voted and the results are in. Maybe the Genie+ might be worth it after all.
“Leading this great company is the honor of a lifetime, and I am grateful to the Board for their support,” Chapek added. “I started at Disney almost 30 years ago, and today have the privilege of leading one of the world’s greatest, most dynamic companies, bringing joy to millions around the world. I am thrilled to work alongside the incredible storytellers, employees, and Cast Members who make magic every day.”
Bob Chapek CEO Disney
According to SEC filings, Chapek made more than $33 million last year. Most of that was a cash bonus, and stock and option awards. Chapek’s 2021 salary was $2.5 million.
Do you this salary is too little for the global company or is it just too much?
With all the excitement that surrounds Disney, most would think this is a fair number. We look at the data, which shows an increase in revenues while cutting expenses. A great attribute to carry while CEO. It is a great decision financial wise. Bob’s vision and financial expertise will greatly ensure Disney’s success.
Can Bob keep the Disney magic going?
We think so. It may be a rocky hill but it does look like Bob’s role will help Disney to being the best entertainment and hospitality company in the World. We already have MagicBand where we can book online and check in to the hotel without even talking to the front desk. His vision is a great future and a frictionless future for Disney.
